CINEMA: 13th Avenue Warren, Wichita, KS
AUDITORIUM: 14
PRESENTATION: Dolby Digital Cinema DLP/THX
PRESENTATION PROBLEMS: None [Cool]
RATING: Two and one half stars (out of four)

Shit. Those Fast & the Furious sequel trailers suck me in every time. SO there.

THE PLOT: A hitman takes an apprentice. Wackiness ensues.

Every one of you who sees this will see the scene where the kid looks like he's going to start messing with the turntable, and EVERY ONE OF YOU will immediately think "DON'T FUCK WITH THE MAN'S TURNTABLE", right before Jason Statham stops him.

Nice house. Nice kills. Fairly predictable. Probably won't get it on Blu-ray.

1/2 a star

Probably the worst movie of the year so far. I thought I would give Jason Statham a chance after seeing the Expendibles, but this piece of trash should of just went straight to video.

The Mechanic has no idea where it wants to go. It has stupid action, stupid one-liners, stupid end of movie explosions, stupid twist on Statham rolling out of the pickup truck...Just a stupid movie all together.

Is this a shot by shot remake of the Charles Bronson film of the same name.

If so watch the original, it is probably much better
