I am just in awe at Nicole Kidman. I can't believe how good of an actress she is/has become. She takes on some very serious material in this movie and from what I have been reading, her salary was not huge for this role. I wonder what the chances are of upset at the Oscars similar to when Sean Penn won for Milk.

The movie is 91 minutes and is exactly the length it needs to be. Great supporting role by Diane Wiest (Double Oscar Winner) and Sandra Oh who I feel just can't into a lead part. Aaron Eckhart is good and the director does a good job with such an outstanding cast.

A huge thumbs up to supporting actor Miles Teller who goes toe-to-toe with onscreen with Nicole Kidman. This was his first real feature film part.

I don't watch trailers and try my best at not finding out any info about a movie and the reason is as follows: I was STUNNED when I found out what the "Rabbit Hole" was. Do not look it up, watch the movie and let it unfold and you might be surprised like I was.

Someone in another thread mentioned that the cinematography should be professional. Well, here is a case where the cinematography is nothing breathtaking or extrodinary as the look and feel of the film looks exactly like it would in real life. Lots of white and bright colours, it looked real.

There are a number of scenes in the movies where you say to yourself, "what would I say/do in this situation?" The director also trusts the audience. There is a flower/metaphor scene at the beginning that sets the tone of the picture and then a scene in the supermarket really hammers home they way we might act in real life.

Rabbit Hole is a very good film by an up and coming director, outstanding performance by Nicole Kidmam, great supporting actors in Wiest/Oh and Teller, and what a surprise to find out what the "Rabbit Hole" actually was.
