Zac Efron lives a miserable life after his kid brother dies.

Zac Efron sees dead people.

Zac Efron saves a life, as well as his own.

Nobody in the audience cries, or cares. Movie over. Wackiness failed to ensue. Lame.

1 out of 5

Even shirtless & nicely buffed Zac Effron eye candy couldn't raise this one above a 1 out of 5. And then it got kind of all morbid and creepy with that talking to the dead brother thing (dead brother is able to throw the ball back?) which for me was a big gag-me-with-a-spoon issue; that actually kicked it down to a 1/2 out of 5 -- with some of these dogs you are forced to resort to fractions. You could hear this one barking all the way out in the lobby.
