Good Ron Howard movies are few and far between. But when Howard does make a good movie, he's not messing around. Such is the case with FROST/NIXON.

It has a fantastic script with even better performances. The photography is very simple, yet effective, relying on lighting more than anything else.

I'm sure that this thing will win Best Picture and all that other nonsense, but if you go into it thinking it'll be the best thing you'll see all year, you'll be disappointed. However, as a simple little straight-forward movie, it's really effective.

Too bad it looks totally uninteresting. I have no reason to watch it. I don't care about Nixon and the trailer was boring as hell.

I agree with Mike Schindler on this...it is a simple, straight-forward movie with an excellent script and even more excellent performances.

Frank Langella gives an absolute master class in acting. He becomes Nixon and should receive an Oscar nomination for his performance. Everyone else in the film is very, very good.

We gave it an A-. Well worth a look. No action, but a very compelling story, especially for those of us who remember the Watergate days.
