Cinemark 17 in Springfield, #14, 35mm. Soft focus. [Frown] If I were to rank the brightness of the digital preshow on say a 1-to-5 scale where 5 is brightest, it would get a 1. The exterior of the building needs painting and the signage is starting to look neglected. I think I saw a tumbleweed blowing down a hallway.

This movie is the mostly-true story of a guy who invented and patented something we all now take for granted in our cars. Detroit stole his invention and ripped him off for millions. The outcome is probably known to most viewers before they step foot in the theater, and if not, it will be known by the end of the first reel. The movie therefore has to also be a character study of Invention Guy, whom most viewers probably don't know that much about.

I liked it. Greg Kinnear is very good. I give it 3.5 out of 5.
