This movie SHOULD have been released to theaters. I see shit like Epic Movie being released to a few thousand theaters and it is non-stop, unfunny garbage. The Onion Movie however is pretty damn entertaining! Out of an 80 minute run time, at least 65 minutes of it will have you laughing and entertained (there were a couple of sections that dragged a little bit).

4 out of 5 stars

Here is the trailer.

Some various clips I found on youtube...

Obesity

Terrorist tutorial

Smoking ban

The Onion is awesome. My favorite "bit" of theirs was a few years ago when they put up a story that Neil Armstrong's ACTUAL first words spoken on the surface of the moon were, "Holy fucking shit! I'm on the goddamn moon!"

The Onion always has me busting my sides with laughter. This one is no exception:

Onion on gays in the military

And as long as we are talking bout stuff that makes tears come to your eyes and nearly puts you in a coma because you can't get your breath from laughing so hard, there's this brutal knock down of Colin Farrel by none other than Stewie of Family Man. How they get away with this stuff is always a wonderment to me:

Stewie on Colin Farrel

Are you trying to confuse me with your wily ways for some nefarious, evil-doing purpose? I am fully capable of watching this movie and have just done so. The movie, for the most part, is pretty damn funny! I agree there are some scenes that weren't too funny and would best be removed, but the terrorist training, neck belts, bank "robber", Bates 4000 and the like were all damn hilarious. Way better than crap like Epic Movie or whatever since they get no laughs. Why wasn't this in theaters? No funding?

Absolutely! I'm glad you correctly perceive the subtleties of my nefarious ways. [Smile]

What a good boy Michael is. [Big Grin]

Just watched this and had a great laugh MANY times. Occasionally it wanders into yawn-get-on-with-it territory, but over all it's a great politically incorrect time at the movies (at home).

Melissa Cherry interview

How long did it sit on the shelf though? It has a 2007 copyright on it and yet it had Rodney Dangerfield in it...and he died in October 2004!

Hey! We're all gonna get laid!

4/5
