That little girl. That stupid little girl ruined the entire movie!

Ok I am being too harsh. The movie would've still been terribly boring without the little girl, but she just made me angry. It is not funny when little kids talk like adults!!! [Mad] It was cute in Uncle Buck, but that was a one time thing.

Seriously, had they left the girl out and just told the freakin' story, it would've just been good and boring. Nothing like a lame chick flick to kill a couple hours of your life, and this one is a good example. Ryan Reynolds and the entire cast (except for the little girl) did a good job with what they were thrown into though.

This is definitely a waste of time. There's no maybe about it.

1 out of 5 stars *as is*

2 out of 5 stars *if all of the scenes with the little girl were omitted*

I was thinking the same thing when I screened it last night. A girl her age is not going to talk like that. I see this all the time in movies now and it drives me insane.

Brad is being too kind to it. Even without the framework of the father telling his daughter about his love life, the movie would have sucked. None of the girlfriends were believable, they were all "stereotypes" and one dimensional, and you don't care about any of the characters.

It's hard to believe but I think the above reviews were too kind. This thing was terrible. Boring boring boring and stupid stupid stupid. Not only was the Abigail Breslin talking like an adult stupid but it was a little disturbing to have a girl (who is supposed to be 9 or 10 in the movie based on the dates) talking grapically about sexual intercourse.

*******SPOILER (Which I recommend reading so you don't have to see this piece of [bs] )**************

When telling the story of "how I met your mother" to your 9 or 10 year old daughter I'm sure you would definitely leave the part in about the lesbian experience that your kid's Mom had.

**********End Spoiler***************

1/2 a star (and I only gave it because I got to see the Indiana Jones teaser on the big screen)

I didn't think this movie was terrible. I also like the fact that it fits into X-FILES continuity.
