In the last week I've seen both Grace is Gone and Lars and the Real Girl. Both are boring wastes of celluloid (or disc space). Both main characters are not just hopelessly disfunctional, they're dull. They don't have interesting personalities that make us want to watch them. They don't seem to want to move forward with their lives fast enough to fill 85 or 106 minutes. Yawn all around.
