Simply put, a true cinematic masterpiece. Rarely do I have the opportunity to watch a film that I find my self this involved in. One of the very few times that at least while I was watching it made me forget that I was the projectionist, and was able to truly enjoy what I love about cinema. Ryan Goslings performance is nothing short of incredible, and every frame felt special. I enjoyed so much about this film that I just can't quite put my finger on it. All I can say is that its movies like this that remind me why and how much I love what I do.

4 stars.

..One thing to add. Half Nelson is surly one for the independant/art house crowd.
