Not too bad of a movie. Nice Feel good. One point that I must make and this is for the historians who made this film.

The NFL DOES NOT use an NBA type countdown when the quarter / game gets below one minute. [Big Grin]

Oh yeah, loved hearing Stranglehold by Terrible Ted in the soundtrack.

3 out of 5

[sleep] [sleep]

Been done a thousand times. They spent way too much time on his pre-season training. It tries to create suspense, as if we don't know that he is going to make the team. They wouldn't make a movie about some loser who gets kicked out.

It could have been a good movie if they would have focused on his career and relationship with the coach.

You would be much better off catching a double feature of Ricky Bobby and Beerfest.

Agreed, Ted Nugent's "Stranglehold" was great to hear on the soundtrack, as was BTO's "Let it Ride." Other than that, it had a retread feel.
