CINEMA: Megaplex 17 at Jordan Commons, Sandy, UT
AUDITORIUM: 2
PRESENTATION: 35mm/Dolby Digital
PRESENTATION PROBLEMS: None
RATING: Two stars (out of four)

WARNING: "Knock knock!" "Who's there?" "Spoilers!" "Spoilers who?" "Oh shut up."

I walked in with no knowledge of the movie other than the title. I assumed "horror flick". But I was surprised when cast members like Donald Sutherland and Sissy Spacek appeared on the screen. And that chick who played Wendy in Peter Pan! Golly. I hope the script holds up.

It doesn't.

The movie starts in modern times and has a BIG clue to where the film ends that initially just looks out of place. (MAJOR SPOILER: It's the poster on the teenager's wall. I saw that and asked...What kind of girl would have THAT poster on her wall?)

It's a lot of smoke and mirrors and effects and loud noises. If you need to take your sound system for a walk to stretch its legs, this'll do it.
