This played at the San Francisco International Film Festival yesterday. A documentary filmed throughout 2004, it combines stunning footage of the Golden Gate bridge with a disturbing study of some of the 24 people who jumped off the bridge that year. One survived and tells a part of his story; the others are remembered by friends and family. I suspect it will have a very limited release. I found it really sinks into you as it progresses. There are actual images of people taking the long plunge. Not for kids. 4.5 stars out of 5.
