I saw Silent Hill yesterday and I thought it was a great movie, was cool special effects. But, I also thought it was confusing. Example: the ending where the little girl and her mother returned home. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I saw it last weekend, twice... and I never could figure it out.

*** SPOILERS AHEAD ***
After watching it again, the only thing I could figure out was that the mother, daughter, and the lady cop ALL 3 died early on in the movie, probably drove off the bridge that was out leading into town. From that point on, they were in an "alternate reality"...

Probably wrong.. but that's what I thought.
