Anyone who liked Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch will be familiar with the format of this film. A bunch of cockney gangsters, over the top characters and a pass the parcel drug farce focusing on the career of the main character.

It lacks the tongue in cheek, almost slap-stick humour of snatch, and there is no vinnie jones or Brad Pitt. The film is slightly too serious, but would have been great with Guy Ricthies choice of characters. The film is witty in places but needed more of a comedy/violence element to make it stand out.

A good movie IMO but could nave been better cast. A little more [sex] and [Big Grin] please, as I saw little in the film.

Loved this movie. 3 million pounds ($$$$) of X, and a great soundtrack!! Very ggod version of the novel. But, it does end differently than the book. Highly recommend this feature for anyone that loved Trainspotting, Lock Stock, or Snatch. Action packed with tons of meaningless violence, and of course....drugs. [sex]

I enjoyed the movie too.

The DVD has an extra ending available in the menu. (region 2 Special Edition disc)

Good movie. I liked Lock Stock and 2 smoking barrels which is stylishly different from this movie despite Vaughn producing lock stock. And I liked this one too. I am glad Vaughn didn't decide to ape Ritchie's style.
