The Olsen twins on the big screen. Oh boy. Tons of eye makeup, no cleavage, and no taller than an automobile (watch when they are standing next to the taxi or limo). Eugene Levy, and Andy Richter (sp) were funny. The twins were just, well, boring. The scene at the House Of Bling was entertaining. However, the movie kept reminding me of Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Instead of a idiot principal, you have a goofy Truant Officer, and a few bad guys. Thank goodness that it's a short running film. I'm sure that we will see New York Minute 2 in the future. The image quality was awesome, very sharp and vivid color. Soundtrack was enjoyable. But, the group Simple Plan seemed out of place in this pre teen movie. Simple Plan and the Olsen Twins???? Doesn't get much better than that! Movie produced in part by the Olsen Twins, go figure.

The Olsen Trolls turn 18 in a month, they are hardly pre-teen. One reviewer stated that it was his opinion that this film is aimed at a voyeuristic male audience. He references all those instances where the girls get naked. But naked in a PG kind of way. He found it disturbing because they look younger than they are. However he may have been bringing some unresolved psychological problems to the table.

My assistant manager (who came up with the Olsen Troll line) speculates that one will become a porn star and the other will die of a heroin overdose. Am I detecting secret desires?

Kinda Cute...

The twins are hot but they need a little enhancement surgery [Big Grin] [Razz]

Basic storyline but very well acted out.

pi/5
