This is a documentary about secretary of Defense Robert Macnamara (SP?), his life and his involvement with WWII, Vietnam, Cold War and the ford motor company.

Very interesting, would recommend for anyone interested in history, war or polotics

I saw it at the Telluride Film Festival with Errol Morris and Robert Strange McNamara in the audience.

One Projectionist was 25-years-old,
I am 41-years-old,
and the booth chief is 50-years-old.

The 25-year-old said; 'this is a facinating film, I didn't realize that it happened this way.'

I thought; I don't remember it happening this way.

The 50-year-old said; "He was lying then, and he's lying now!"

All in all I thought it was a well crafted film that encouraged discusion and the desire to learn more. McNamara is a well spoken and thoughful man.

Fascinating. I loved watching the old color clips.

********* SPOILERS AHEAD **************

McNamara essentially says Cuba (i.e., Castro) and North Vietnam would have fought to the very end of their existence. Scary.
