I really REALLY liked this movie. I thought the acting was done very well, when you don't actually think about yourself watching Halle Berry, thats a good thing! [Smile] Pentalope Cruz (probably not spelt right) had a small but very effective role. This movie is my preferred genre and I am very picky about this particular type of film, I loved it!

The movie was just released on DVD yesterday and instead of starting a new thread about it at the Afterlife forum, I hope it would be ok to discuss the movie on this thread. Yes, I also enjoyed the movie but there were several elements in the story with lose ends. SPOILERS!!!! (1) If the ghost of a dead girl tried to get the Halle Berry's character to help her solve the actual reason for her death, why did she rough up Halle Berry in her cell? (2) When Halle Berry went back to her home after escaping from the psychiatric ward, there is a scene indicating she did kill her husband? Did she or did she not kill her husband? If she did not kill her husband, who did? Was it the husband's best friend, the sheriff?

The picture quality was excellent and the movie had wonderful discreet soundtrack that gave my surround and rear speakers a good workout.

Three out of four stars.
