Having just saw dreamcatcher at the dollar flicks with this short attached, I felt it wise to start a new thread for this small treat.

Presentation and sound were horrible, the lense and booth window covered with dust, making the image fuzzy. Cinemark 10 sugarhouse, slc, ut, Wed, 9:40 pm.

The short is fine, actually in retrospect as good as the entire of Matrix Reloaded.

I would like to point out that many of the character similarities between this and Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, are just rather striking. I would draw that the same animation programs for those characters were either just copied straight over, and/or just slightly reprogrammed. The studio that produced the Final Fantasy movie went belly up and I do not recall what happened to the program core itself.

All in all, still entertaining, would like to see the rest of the animatrix now.

Dave
