Wow. Saw this indie film today. I must have been nuts, it was beautiful out, and here I am sitting indoors watching a movie! This movie rocked!!! Great soundtrack, great camera work, and a believable junkie cast!!! The film was even getting me high, or perhaps it was the medium size Pepsi! Great film about the lives of a bunch of crystal meth junkies and dealers. Very realistic, very intense. Mickey Rourke was great as the meth cook. This movie rocked, oh ya, i already mentioned that!!! Go check it out, if it plays in your area. [thumbsup]

Well made? Yes. Good performaces? Yes. Intense? Yes. Great Soundtrack? Yes.

Good? No

This is a crazy step into the world of crystal meth and the people who use it. It's visually very thorough in trying to convey the perspective of someone jacked on the stuff, but all ir really is in the end is eye candy. Through an intense and interesting visual style, it basically glorifies a whole bunch of really horrible people and their horrible acts. It works hard to be psychologically realistic, but completely ignores reality. In some sense, it was a bit frustrating to sit through, and the end was enfuriating and annoying.
