A new aussie comedy set in the world of lawn bowls.
This film comes from the comedian Mick Molloy who co wrote and starred in the film, his comedy is based around BEER, FAG'S AND SEX (probably in that order)and the odd fart joke thrown in for good measure. Mick Molloy comes from the same stable of comics who made THE CASTLE, but went his own way before THE CASTLE was made.

I found this film enjoyable, funny in places and also a bit flat at times, but overall a good film and worth a look on cheap day.
Being a film about lawn bowls alot of the cast are elderly and the casting was well done, alot of them are classic actors from days gone by and some still getting regular work. The film thankfully treats the elderly lawn bowlers with respect and are treated as people and not as senile outcasts.

This film seems to have done very well in it's opening week box office figures, opening at number 2 behind GREEK WEDDING.
