There's definitely some worthwhile stuff in this movie. It's funny and rather suspenseful. Thandie Newton is great. She's very charismatic and a lot of fun to watch. I also kind of liked how it was in that new-wavish style, although I felt like it was pretending to be a new wave film more than actually embodying that spirit. However, this film is not nearly as good as the original. It has a strange problem where it's less complex yet more confusing than CHARADE. I don't see how this happens, but it does. But on the whole, this version works well enough.

I've spent the last year, watching different cuts of this movie.
I'm glad it's finally out. It was good, but Charade was a better
film.
