Rolf de heers 1998 film (australia).
This is a story by heather rose (also stars in the film) who suffers from cerebral palsy.
A young women who is severly restricted and is totaly dependent on her carer, the only problem is...her carer is abusive and uncaring!, a story of friendship, trust and love, highly recommended!!.
WARNING , this film is confronting, ahh...i love these films!.
Rolf de heer has to be one of my all time favourite film directors, each time he releases a film it's gaurenteed(sp?)to challenge you. His films are also very australian , although he's dutch he's lived here since he was eight.
Some of his other films are : DINGO (with miles davis), BAD BOY BUBBY, EPSILON (also known as alien visitor), THE QUIET ROOM and he's just about to release the awsome THE TRACKER starring David Gullpilil , soon to reviewed when it opens next week. He's made some other films but i've found them very hard to get hold of .
Can anyone tell me if his films get screened overseas?.
