Since O'Brother where art thou, i have found myself fascinated by bluegrass and traditional american music.
i bought the DVD through amazon and also have the soundtrack on cd. This concert focuses on the artists performing the songs from the film 'O'Brother where art thou".
Directed by the great D.A.Pennebaker, down from the mountain is a great concert film, although, i felt there were not enough of the behind the scenes footage to give the film a better balance.
I bought this for the music, and to see the artists perform the music!, and in that respect , i'm in heaven!.
I'm not really a fan of pop country (shania twain/garth brooks) music though! .
