Ok, if you are a fan of martial arts films you do not want to miss this one. The action sequences are amazing. However, there really is no plot to the film. Basically it is good cop against bad cop with the usual sub-plot of a woman being forced to be a hooker while the bad cop is holding on to her little girl. The rest is predictable but the ride to the end with the action sequences is worth the money. Very remanisant of some of the good hong kong action films. None of that wire stuff in this one. It is all Jet Li kicking ass.

One of the things I liked about this film that I didn't like about Romeo Must Die is that you didn't have to have some bone crushing special effect everytime he kicked someones ass. You Heard the bones crush. this film deserves 2 1/2 stars out of four for the action alone.

Very pointless movie- I laughed during the bad guy's big death scene though. He should get an Oscar nomination for it
"Romeo Must Die" was funny just because they were in the San Francisco area then suddenly ended up in Vancouver in the next scene!
