This is a documentary that I would recommend highly to people who don't like documentaries.

It's basically a history lesson on the attempts of the US government to restrict the distribution and use of marijuana in the 20th century. It is narrated by Woody Harrelson, and the tone is blatantly anti-anti-marijuana-laws. Regardless of one's personal views on this subject, the film has lots of laughs. It's not a comedy, but some of the stock footage is a real hoot. This is a rare film that manages to make its point while providing good entertainment.

The film is currently in limited release; I don't know if there are plans to widen its distribution.

sounds sort of like Atomic Cafe, a documentary done with mostly stock footage about nuclear arms, educational films and newsreels. some really funny stuff.

I saw Atomic Cafe on the Discovery channel. Very funny, but very scary at the same time. I'll have to try and see Grass, sounds good.

We are in our second week of Grass. We were a little dissapointed with the business we are doing. One would think there were a few more people in Northern California that were interested in Grass. Perhaps they are all in jail.
