I went to an exhibitor screening today at Century Theatre's headquarters. My brain is fried from a double feature --- so this is probably not the most eloquent review you've ever read.

Rocky and Bullwinkle -- for the first half hour - stayed true to the cartoon. Lots of GOOD - REAL GOOD - puns and witty humor. After those ran out - the movie became the usual gratuitous "Yay we made a cartoon come to life movie!!!"

I enjoyed the first half - but after that I began to wonder if anybody who didn't know the cartoon (ie. CHILDREN) would understand the jokes? - my guess - like the cartoon - is no, probably not.

I love when someone "reviews" a movie and pretty much says "I saw it before all of you and it was pretty cool"

tyler.

A quote from the top of the page:

Please do not post movie reviews any earlier than the day before it's first public performance. Sneaks are considered a public performance, trade or press screenings are not.

Hmmm.
