Generally speaking, cats will run as long as they have something to chase.

As for the movie- - I've got an unconfirmed press screening coming
up booked into a 2hr time slot, with an unofficial run time of between
1h 53m & 1hr 57min. But I think they are still tweaking the final edit
and/or credit roll, so there's no 'final' answer on this other than to
say it will be "appx 2hrs"

I ran into a similar situation with "Dark Waters" & another flick last
month which were screened in early versions while still in post production.
I'm curious to see how the final run-times of those two titles compare
with the 'almost final edit' versions I ran.

Wait, wait...they are up to version 20 of the movie now. They "fixed" it without changing the running time!

Total: 01:49:49. Credits: 01:41:21

It's interesting how there are two discussions ongoing, one about Cats and the other about garbage. [Wink]

On the other hand, what took George Lucas 20 years, they managed to do in just weeks: A new and improved "special edition".

Apparently, if you're not sure what version you're watching, because you're so hooked on the compelling story: Look at Judy Dench's hand, you can spot her "human" hand in some shots, including a shiny wedding ring in the "original" version...

Now I really wonder what those 11 seconds extra were spent on.

If Andrew Lloyd Webber would be dead already, he would be spinning in his grave.
