aka Le Combat Dans L'ile

6 reels
flat 1.66 (hard matte)
mono
104 min
black and white
French with English subtitles
reel 6 is short, less than 10 min.

This film was recently restored. I handled a new print on Kodak black and white film stock (polyester) with laser-etched subtitles. It looked great and had excellent contrast.

Was there not a animated film in color from Fox with the same title, FIRE & ICE?

I think so, but this is not the animated film, this is a French film that was released in 1962.

Thanks for the reminder, the distributor is The Film Desk.
