Arthur and the Invisibles
Arthur et les Minimoys

Alliance Atlantis
MGM
Weinstein Company

8 Reels
C/S
SR, DTS, SDDS, SRD

Attached trailers:
Miss Potter
The Last Mimzy

Run time is about 1Hour40Mins.

One might ask the question why this hour and 45 minute movie needs to be on 8 reels. Well, I'm thinking it's because if they tried to make it fit on 6 then they wouldn't have been able to make the nice fade to/from black reel-change between reel 3 and 4. It's also a vignette to black at the end of reel 7 and the 8th reel is entirely credits.

Hopefully this isn't going to be deleted, but the original cut was around 120 minutes. My guess is that rather than repositioning the different reel changes, they left them on the same 8 reels and just cut out whatever was needed. Pretty lazy IMO.
