aka 3 Stooges shorts

all that I have seen are one reel, flat/1.33 (Academy), mono, Columbia pictures, ETS depot, lab. cues, start and end with Columbia logo

Some ETS labels correctly specify "mono"; others erroneously specify "Dolby" [Mad]

Specific info is as follows:

Hoi Polloi (print #0003)
print is a bit splicy and has light scratches; density track with low volume--looks almost clear in many areas (don't be fooled, it's not a silent film)

Who Done It (print #0001)
very nice print, complete with fadein/fadeout, with good sound

Grips, Grunts, Groans (print #0003)
fair condition, missing last scene and end title, missing opening fadein; good sound

Nurse to Worse (#0002)
generally decent, not great; good sound

Dizzy Detectives (shipped in can mislabelled as "Calling all Cures" print #0004)
looks like a poor dupe, printed too light; splicy, printed slightly out of frame (adjust framing down); OK sound

Love at First Bite (print #0001)
generally decent

What's the Matador (print #0005)
decent print, _very_ low sound (I'd suggest not booking this print for that reason)

Probably bookable through Columbia Repertory. I wasn't involved with the booking; the venue uses a commercial film booker.

It's that time of year again:

Hot Scots (print #0001)
1994 print, good condition, complete

Pardon My Scotch (print #0003)
low sound, density track, no end title, Agfa print stock

Crash Goes the Hash (print #0006)
low sound, short end title and opening title, otherwise OK, Agfa print stock

Flat Foot Stooges (print #0010)
good condition, short titles, Agfa print stock

Three Little Sew and Sews (print #0001)
1981 print, poor condition, heat damage, ends mid-scene (and is missing end title)

So Long Mr. Chumps (print #0018)
1983 print, nice condition, not plattered until last week; fade-ins and fade-outs are complete

Movie Maniacs (print #0018)
density track, picture a bit dark, otherwise OK

Update for this year:

Horse Collars #0004 - density track, good condition, missing part of fadein and fadeout - Agfa stock

Three Little Beers #0002 - fair condition, dirty/splicy, missing part of final scene, then splice to "The End" title, missing opening fadein and closing fadeout - Agfa stock

False Alarms #0001 - printed dark, but otherwise in good condition, missing part of fadein and fadeout - Agfa stock

Brideless Groom #0001 - 1996 print, Eastman stock, printed a bit dark, good condition, missing end title

Three Little Pigskins #0002 - 1975 print, Eastman stock, density track, missing fadeout at end, minor framing issues throughout (printing problem)

A-Ducking We Will Go #0008 - 1981 print, Eastman stock, nice condition, has complete fadein and fadeout

A-Plumbing We Will Go #0008 - 1981 print, Eastman stock, nice condition, has complete fadein and fadeout

Received but not shown this year:

Cash and Carry #0004 - has both Eastman (1943 date code) and Agfa positive edge markings, Eastman marking says "NITRATE FILM" and therefore we did not run it. It burns but not impressively, but I did not show it, erring on the side of caution.

Ants in Pantry (unknown print number, probably 0002 or 0004) - decent condition until last 100' or so, where there is severe perf damage.

Update for 2009:

Hoi Polloi #5001 - slightly dark picture, slightly muffled sound, density track

Whoops I'm an Indian #00003 - slightly dark picture, a few splices, otherwise OK

Pop Goes the Easel #00003 - sound a bit low, a few splices, otherwise OK

Healthy Wealthy and Dumb #00003 - a few splices, but otherwise nice

No Census No Feeling #00011 - sound a bit low, otherwise excellent

Boobs in Arms #00005 - picture good, but soundtrack damage as received (causes "motorboat" effect)
