In another thread, 179 minutes was quoted.

Can someone please clock this movie for an accurate run time?

EDIT - Yes, Darryl is correct below. My mistake.

By my watch at the exhibitor's screening it was 155 minutes (which included 7 minutes of end credits).

Brad I think that run time is the one I quoted for Lord of the rings.

As for Harry Potter, our booking department clocked it at 161 mins.

According to the SDDS web page and posts on this forum, Harry Potter 1 was SDDS-8. Anyone know if Chamber of Secrets is also SDDS-8?

Shipping under 'decoy' title of '3 1 8' (and the other label on the cans says 'HP2/Chamber' so so much for the decoy)

Just received a note from Warner Brothers.

They've produced an Intermission Title for those of us that need one for technical reasons.

The Intermission title (which they also sent) needs to be spliced to the end of reel four.

They give timing details as follows:-

Part One - Reels 1 to 4 71 minutes 17 seconds

Part Two - Reels 5 to 9 89 minutes 24 seconds

Total Running Time 160 minutes 24 seconds

pretty great service from them, especially seeing that I'm not screening the feature until next year, but then we've just this week booked it...

Not to be picky...ok, to be picky...that running time doesn't add up. Should the total be 160 min and 41 sec?
