If memory serves me correctly it's 1:1.85 and SR only. I also vaguely remember that there was a racking issue with the subtitles.

The UK prints come from the Institute of Contemporary Arts - the last time one of them showed at City Screen, York, it was pretty knackered.

The title difference could actually be crucial when booking prints - The Ring (as in a boxing ring) is a 1928 Hitchcock melodrama which has recently been rereleased by the BFI.

6 Reels (95m 21s) so non of the reels are anywere near full
Flat 1.85:1 Hard Matted
Dolby SR only
Japanese Headers and footers

BOOTH ALERT: Either the print has strange positioning of the changover cues or people have be cutting off lots of frames. Most of the reels had the second cue marks very close the the end of the reel. One reel actually had a cue mark on the very last frame. Another had a cue mark 3 frames in etc...

Interesting cans, see the topic 'Cans with shafts to hold the cores steady' thread I will start now in Film Handlers'
