Dick,

It wasn't on any of our four prints. I was expecting it to be on there after all the rumours on the net, but sadly not. It may as you pointed out be sent to us sometime this week in time for the release on the 16th, but it won't be shown on our previews this Saturday and Sunday (10th & 11th). Perhaps this is how Warner Bros/20th C Fox/Lucasfilm intended on doing this??

I got 3 prints for a promotional screening. The same info is true for my prints as the top post.

However, I received trailers with my copies.

ATTACHED TRAILERS: Scooby-Doo (1:03) & The Majestic (2:30)
LOOSE TRAILERS: Joe Somebody, Monsters Inc., Stuart Little 2, Lord of the Rings (specially edited trailer for HP), A Walk to Remember.

No Star Wars trailer at all. Not even a mere mention on the trailer sheet.

We recieved a memo at work today stating that we will be receiving Episode II trailers, one-sheets and banners on either Wednesday 14th or Tnursday 15th November, under a different "security" name. We have also been told that the trailers are not to play before Friday 16th November.

Isn't going to stop me having a look though!

Hopefully we will get more than 4 which would just cover hardlocking onto all our Harry Potter prints.

I am having just the opposite happen.

The company I work for has told us that if we do receive the new Episode 2 trailers that we ARE NOT to play it on "Harry Potter."

Ain't that just a bite in the ass??!!

My GM told me that we are not recieving any SW trailers with Harry Potter. I don't think they want us to run them, the Star Wars trailers that is.

Question: Is the SDDS-8 mix also an EX mix? I don't see why SDDS-8-EX wouldn't be possible, but the letter in the can states EX/ES only for SRD and DTS.

Also, did anyone else find an ultrasonic splice at the very end of Reel 4? It was neatly made, in frame, and between two different shots, so I assume it was an editorial splice rather than a rawstock splice. It was right between the 3rd and 4th frames of the first changeover cue, made all the more obvious because the 4th cue was much larger.

Yes the SDDS-8 mix is also EX, if the original LS and RS masteres were EX encoded.

I just saw this at Odeon Cinema Leeds/Bradford. With a Star Wars teaser.

I think it was the "Forbidden Love" version of the teaser.

I could be mistaken but was the movie lacking reel change cue marks.

When I worked in a multi-plex I noticed that Warners were not adding cue dots to many features, the first film to lack these, if I remember correctly was "The Devils Advocate"
