Hello,

I have a nice 1937 Philips 35mm projector with a Peerless Magnarc lamp in my living room. Unfortunately, neither the silvered glass parabolic mirror of the arc lamp, nor the beveled safety glass from the projector door made it through our recent move.
I won't even ask about the door glass, but a peerless magnarc mirror can't possibly be that hard to find, can it ?
Did anyone recently retire his/her arc lamps and could do without the mirror, or pilfered an old projector booth of a drive-in about to be torn down ? Or know of one they could pilfer ? Or know someone who pilfered one ? Condition of mirror not in the least important, it's not going to be used, as long as it's in one piece. I'll consider both the original silvered glass and the unbreakable metal ones, perhaps even with a slight preference for the latter, with shipping in mind. And while I'm asking anyway, if you have an arc lamp you're taking apart with the express purpose of providing me with a mirror, mine is also missing the motor for moving the carbon.
Needless to say, I'm prepared to pay for these parts, if the price is anywhere near reasonable.
E-mail me at stenella -at- yucom -dot- be

Thanks a lot for considering this !

Christophe
