Greetings all:

I have two (mostly complete) RCA 400 carbon arc projectors for sale. Includes RCA 400 heads (with condensor lens), carbon arc lamphouses, rebuilt rectifiers (with silicon diodes), two Sankor reflectors (one recently resilvered, amplifier bases (one has a shorted transformer), a small supply of carbons and misc lenses of varying focal lengths.

Also have one spare lamphouse (for parts) along with boxes and boxes of RCA spare parts for the 400 series. The spare parts range from motors and flywheels to transformers to sound drum idler rollers and so forth. Fairly large collection of RCA 400 service manuals inlcuding a reprint of the PortoArc manual. Too much to list here.

The projector heads can be adapted to work with almost any xenon lamphouse. The large condensor lenses act as heat shields, but with anything over 700 watts you would probably need to add a cooling fan. The sound pickups have been changed to solar cell. They can feed any commercial cinema sound system, or will go directly into an XLR mic input on a PA amp or mixer board.

I am willing to break up the projector sets if you only want specific items. Also will sell the lamphouses separately. The rectifiers weigh a lot, so shipping them from Hawaii is expensive unless it is by ocean freight. Everything else can go at the UPS Ground rate.

Contact me at cinematonesvc@aol.com for more info and to discuss prices. Photos will be available. This equipment has served me well and I would like for all of it to go to good homes. Thanks.....
