Someone was nice enough to give me two old chassis and a box of parts for a Motiograph AA. I already had a good 7500 soundhead. And now all we need are a "Few Good Parts". Here is the list of what is still needed to complete The Big Unit: Most important, the lower sprocket gear (this is the one that also turns the intermittent). I do have the sprocket. And the rest of the list: one framing knob; 2 of the 3 big bolts from the back door; the two small bolts from the small back S-shaped door; 2 aperature plates -one flat and one scope; the two knobs that are closest to the lens (focus? & ???), the glass (7 and 7/8's x 5) for the back door , and the electric bulb (120v, 25watts from the interior). While I'm at it, I am also interested in 2 Motiogrtaph magazines (upper and lower) and a base. Do any of you know if there is a neck that would allow the 7500 to sit on an RCA base? Am I correct in assuming that it would not only have to have the standard 4 holes and then an additional 2 upper slots to allow for what seems to be two upper bolt holes in the 7500 coupling plate? I have three or 4 different necks , but that 7500 seems to be a very unusual fit.

Thanks for letting me bend your ear. This project has been a great learning experience. The Motiograph appears to be an incredible achievement. It was beautifully built and best of all they used the KISS rule of engineering--KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID.

E-mail me or call 724-325-1131. Thanks.
