Howdy. I have finally aquired an original L25N amp for my pair of Holmes projectors. It needs to be rebuilt, and this I can do. One thing, though, the output transformer is blown out. The primary is good, but the secondary to the speaker is fried. I tacked a small transformer that I have laying around into the circuit and got sound. I know this one is bad.

This is the amp that uses the 6J7, and the 2 6C5's as preamps, and a pair of 6L6G's for the output. If I cant find an original, I can get one from Antique Radio and Electronics, but I'd rather have the real thing.

Since I'm asking, if you have the output, might I possibly get the mounting hardware off of your power transformer, too? This one was dropped once and the mounting feet were broken. The whole mounting assembly is attached to the core with 2 bolts, and can be removed without too much work...

I want this thing to be as original as possible, and since it will be moved now and then, I need it to be fairly sturdy.

E-mail me if you can help. I'll be notified by the site if I get a reply.

Thanks a million
Bruce McGee
