Is anyone else still using resistance-type dimmers for house lights? Does anyone have a pile of parts for these laying around somewhere? I've been looking for a replacement rheostat for two years with no luck.

Here's what I need: "Vitrohm Theatre Dimmer"; Max Watts: 415; Min Watts: 280; Volts: 115; Type: 8521; So. No. D62227.

Yes, I know that using a resistance-type dimmer board from the 1930s is kind of crazy, but, as real estate brokers say, "it has character" and looks and feels much nicer than any of the modern computer-controlled dimmer equipment. It also doesn't affect the sound system.
