Hi!
I am installing a new sound system at a site using a GDC (2001A) and a JSD-100. This is not a very common setup in Sweden and itīs the first time I see a GDC-server. Can anyone point me in the right direction on achieving 7.1 from the server? I find the audio mapping a bit confusing.

Best regards
Tia

The easiest solution is a special adapter card from Odyssey. This moves the digital signal for BLS and BRS from AES 6 (11/12) to to AES 4 (7/8), and also has an output for the original AES 4 (7/8) digital signal for HI/VI so you can use that with a single digital channel (stereo audio) D-A.
There are a few cards slightly different - different connectors for the HI/VI signal, RJ45 connectors rather than DB25, etc.
