Dear,
I posted questions several time.
I have a screen with Christie Solaria one. The problem that I must replace IMB-S2 three times in 5 years. Unfortunately, they all got problem after warranty time.
Iam searching for a replacement one. A local technician recommend me to use IMS2000. An advantage is it comes with 2 years warranty instead 1 year of IMB S2.
But the price is 1.5 times more expensive.
Please help me soon to make decision.

You should talk with Christie as they have an exchange program now where you replace the s2 with a GDC SX-4000 or SR-1000 or IMS 2000 and you get a credit for returning your s2. You do this through Christie. The GDCs are cheaper as you can reuse the Christie NAS. The IMS 2000 uses internal RAID and is more expensive.

Thank you for your info.
Howver, can I get credit to return a broken IMB-S2? (the third one).
Are these better than imb s2 as it was really a nightmare. I PAID 3500 usd for one year using IMB S2. The third one had problem just a week beyond warranty time

I think if you talk to Christie about this, they should acknowledge the well known problems with the IMB-S2 and make you a good offer. You are not the only one with this issue. There is a reason why Christie discontinued the IMB-S2.

Any of the 3 choices are better than the S2. I do not think it matters if it is working or not.

If it fails within warranty, they will give you a credit, is what Christie told me in an email yesterday.

Thank you for your all replies. One more question: As I'm in Vietnam, don't have much information about these product, anyone can help me about the price of GDC SX4000, GDC SR 1000, IMS 2000. In Vietnam, they quote me IMS 2000 - GDC SR 1000 = 9000 usd (include tax, installation), no price for SX4000
