Hey gang,

As I’m sure you’re all far too familiar with, I went out of town for five minutes, and my doremi shoe vault-4 starting expiriencing an issue where it will randomly engage a power start up while the projector is on, citing an invalid boot sequence, and then will randomly enter a session open and make the server reset itself, stopping any shows in progress.

It’s worth mentioning there is currently only one power source in the back of the server, as my technician is still waiting to receive a replacement, since, we placed one of the two power sources into a separate sever that wasn’t working, before this issue even presented itself.

Any thoughts?
Thanks so much

The improper shutdown warning generally means it lost power, so maybe the remaining PSU is flaky?

One of the screening rooms I work at had almost the identical problem about
a year ago. One of the power supplies was getting flakey, and even though,
in theory, the server should have been able to operate OK on the remaining
supply, it started exhibiting odd behavior, including crashing & error messages
similar to the ones you are getting.

In our case, replacing both power supplies solved the problem.

Hi
Not sure I fully understand. The server power cycles and then reset?
If it’s just power cycling randomly, replace the power supply. If you had two, you probably wouldn’t have experienced that issue.
