I plan to swap out the SX2001 with an SR1000 IMB in my single screen booth soon. The equipment is ready to install. I have some pre-show trailers stored on the old server and (stupidly) have no backup of the content. Is there a way to move content off the SX2001 so I can ingest it into my new storage system?

Just went through this for a customer and they ended up with three new SR-1000. The thing you need to consider is the operational aspect. The SR-1000 doesn't include touch screen capability. You interface to it via web server, so if your booth computer or TMS is close by, then that's fine and you can include a shortcut to each one on your browser bar. The SR-4000 which works out to costing about $1200 USD more per server will use the existing touch screens and some others. Have six more going in as soon as soon as the customer decides which one they want. I suspect the next install will use the SR-4000 just because they are used to the touch screens. There is a new version of TMS, not yet on the FTP site that does include those two servers. GDC may want to monitor your new server(s) for a while, they did these three. They are also offering a trade in of your old server.

Sent you a PM. You should be able to FTP in and transfer to a computer.
