Last Saturday we had an issue where the Security Manager on our GDC server would not connect before opening. We tried multiple different reboots, including power cycling both the projector and the server.

We were running a retro combination of movies at the time, but everything worked fine Friday night, with no indication of a problem.

The projector is a Barco 32B 2K with a GDC HFR IMB. GDC software version is 9.00 build 447. We ran for our entire drive-in season on this build and never had an issue until our last night of the season.

I had GDC look at the server logs and they did not see anything which might have caused the problem. Any ideas?

Cables or network switch. If those are ok then the IMB is defective.

Since he said it was an HFR IMB (SX2000AR), there is no network switch to the security manager (IMB). That is a direct connect between the server and Ethernet 2 on the IMB.
