Dolby released 2.8.20 for IMS2000, DCP2000, DCP2K4, and IMB/ShowVault, and new security managers for IMS 1000/2000 and Doremi/Showvault IMB.

A few new features, some bug fixes:

Dolby DCP‐2000/DCP‐2K4/ShowVault software v2.8.20 includes new features, bug fixes, and other improvements .

Dolby DCP‐2000/DCP‐2K4/ShowVault software v2.8.20 requires the dcp2000_install-2.8.20-0.pkg package.

3.1 Dolby DCP‐2000/DCP‐2K4/ShowVault software software v2.8.20 new features
Dolby DCP‐2000/DCP‐2K4/ShowVault software software v2.8.20 includes new features.
• Integrates the StreamIT management information base (MIB) into the servers’s overall MIB.

• Adds red and green bullets in the StreamIt GUI (GUI) and web UI to indicate the stream is properly received by the streamer services before playback. [DCPLYR-2677]
• Adds engine support for quick indexing files for improved ingesting performance. [DCPLYR-4422]

3.2 Dolby DCP‐2000/DCP‐2K4/ShowVault software software v2.8.20 bug fixes
Dolby DCP‐2000/DCP‐2K4/ShowVault software software v2.8.20 includes bug fixes.
• Fixed an issue where canceling a scheduled ingest task was not functioning. [DCPLYR-3238]
• Fixed an issue where the system incorrectly monitored SMART data on Samsung HDDs. [DCPLYR-3899]
• Fixed an issue where green flashes appeared with 3D content on the Dolby IMB with firmware v30.11a and v30.11b. [DCPLYR-4113]
• Fixed an issue where a response from the JNior automation device sent to the cinema server caused the server’s driver to crash and resulted in the communication stopping between the cinema server and JNior. [DCPLYR-4178]
• Fixed an issue where the subtitles were sent incorrectly to a series 3 projector. [DCPLYR-4378]
• Fixed an issue where the Interop Digital Cinema Package (DCP) with PNG subtitles was increased in size by a multiple of two, requiring you to ingest 4K PNG interopdcp2000_ims_ims3_sw_hotfix_enable_4k_png_interop-1.0.0.pkg. [DCPLYR-4387]
• Improved the swappiness performance by decreasing the threshold and preventing the system
from swapping during normal conditions. [DCPLYR-4452]
• Fixed an issue where the Pngest ingest failed when the DCP had a TimedText Material Exchange Format (MXF). [DCPLYR-4463]

3.3 Dolby DCP‐2000/DCP‐2K4/ShowVault software v2.8.20 other improvements
Dolby DCP‐2000/DCP‐2K4/ShowVault software v2.8.20 includes other improvements.
• Updated the timezone data to 2018c. [DCPLYR-3641]
• Added a new option to add a Christie Series-3 projector in the Device Manager. [DCPLYR-3865]
• Included a check if Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology (SMART) is disabled on a redundant array of independent disks (RAID) disk. If SMART is disabled, then the server re-enables it. [DCPLYR-4272]
• Added a new option to add a Christie Series-3 and 4K projector in the Device Manager. [DCPLYR-4281]
• Increased the maximum number of supported composition playlist (CPL)s from 2048 to 4096. [DCPLYR-4477]
