Any errors/warnings visible? It does happen, but then usually an error is signaled on server screen or projector.

The server is connected to what projector? Does the projector work otherwise?

What's the content that you're trying to play? Is it valid and error-free content? Does it play on other servers?

Are you sure you're setting up the playlist correctly on the server?

Its connected to a series one Christie 2000SB ,the content was playing fine ,trailers ads etc.I suspect it to be the Dolphin Board.

Did this happen right after an upgrade? You might have upgraded from a non DCI version to one that is and is not compatible with the old interface board in the Christie SB projector.

Does it still play stuff like trailers, ads, etc? (mostly unencrypted content) Or does it only refuse to play feature content (mostly encrypted)?

If you see no warnings, etc, I guess the only option is to download a so called 'detailed log' to a USB stick, and upload that file to Dolbys log analyzer, and/or send that file to Dolby support.

---- How to generate a detailed log ----
Via USB
Equipment needed: 1x USB stick with 10MB of space free.

The estimated size of the log file is about 3MB to 5MB.

Insert the USB stick into the front or rear USB port.
The DCP2000 will automatically mount/load the USB stick and display the ingest window.
Close the dialogue box and the ingest window.
Navigate to the Menu > Doremi Labs, Inc. > Diagnostic Tool.
The Diagnostic Tool window will open in System. Click on the Detailed Report button.
The Select Disk dialogue window will open, select USB Disk #0 and OK. This will set the destination location where the log file will be saved to.
A report will be generated on the USB stick/device.
When the operation is complete select Eject disc. YES.
Then select Quit.
Remove the USB stick.
---------------------------------

Then, from your desktop computer, upload this file to:

http://loganalyzer.dolbycustomer.com

Try Shutting down the Doremi completely (not rebooting). Leave it shutdown for about a minute and then turn it back ON. I've had this happen a couple of times before, on multiple Doremi DCP2000 units. Rebooting the unit did not fix it, but shutting down the unit completely and restarting the unit worked.

That would suggest that the problem is in the Dolphin board (media block). A soft reboot of the server will only reboot the server: the media block will remain powered up and online. That's why, when you soft reboot an old school server with a media block in it that connects to the projector by dual HD-SDI, the projector won't complain that the secure link has broken (and in the case of a Dolby Show Manager server, you won't get "Error securing connection between show store and projector" for 2-3 minutes before "Please select a show for playback" and it's ready to play).

By pulling the power to the entire chassis, you're forcing the media block to reboot as well.
