A simple topic that needs a question possibly answered:

I made a bulb order and received Philips/LTI bulbs instead of my usual Ushios for my Barcos.

Has LTI improved their bulb quality, for I've had experiences with LTI, esp their Helios, and never could get warranty out of these bulbs.

I know that the XDC4200S couldn't live past 300 hours in a Sony without going black.

thx - Monte

As mentioned in a recent thread(lamp question), we just had a Phillips XDC-4500N explode two weeks ago. We were receiving in all Phillips branded boxes but since then we've started receiving LTI branded boxes. Haven't used any of the LTI ones yet.

Philips bulbs are made by LTI.

LTI had been contracted out to manufacture these bulbs under the Philips banner.

Thx

I believe Phillips owns LTI
