Now I know I'm not going crazy. Multiple times I have come in to find the emitter panel defaulted to the factory network settings. This has happened in 2 out of the 4 screens. I reset it, reboot it and it's fine for a day or 5. All other settings are always saved including auditorium data and server info....WTH???

How old are these units? Very old units? Very old units would sometimes falsely detect the restore button being down on power up. You might also try loading the latest firmware available at http://ftp.uslinc.com/?dir=ftp/Products/IRC-28/Software/Firmware/beta . Use version 171024. If problems persist, contact QSC.

Thanks!

Harold

I have version 160419. We got the units this past October. I'll try the new firmware.
Thanks Harold.

I can't seem to get the file. How do I download it?

You can normally right click on the link and select save as. Since this is a recent unit, it should not be suffering from false restore.

When I right click, I only get "save target as" and that's no good. It's strange that only the network settings go back and nothing else.

Save target as SHOULD work. It is interesting that it is only the IP address, but the restore is SUPPOSED to let you find a lost unit.

The most current is 180222 (Feb22, 2018). In another thread I read that they are working on a revision due to a potential issue with long captions.

The latest release is 180222 at http://ftp.uslinc.com/Products/IRC-28/Software/Firmware/ . I am working on another version, but it will take a while.

I'm having the same problem I did last year when I tried to upgrade the firmware. After I download it to my computer and select the file on the upgrade firmware page, it hangs up waiting for response.

Old firmware had an option to reboot on lease terminate. Make sure that is set to no, otherwise the system reboots during the upload. I think that should resolve the issue. Let me know how it goes.

Thanks!
