Hi everyone,

I started installing new IMS 2000, first one I installed went with no issues, marriage succesfull immideatly.

I am having trouble with second one, I can not marry the board with projector whatsoever. I can connect to the IMS, to the projector without issues.

I tried the 1st IMS in this projector as well and it married without issues.

Anyone had marriage issues on IMS? What procedure you do before you marry? Do you change IPS or leave both on default?

Thank you

Michal

Since you say that you tried the other unit and it married without issue, I suspect that you have a bad IMS2000 rather than a projector issue at all. Contact your dealer (or Dolby) about getting it replaced as a DOA.

Like Steve mentioned, you probably got a bad IMS. Then again, any error messages you're getting might be helpful.

Hi,

We figured it out. We had to add the projector in ims device manager, after that, certainity (or how is te auto detected projector called) appeared and after reboot we were able to do the marriage not problem.

Strange is that in manual it says it should be detected automaticly - as it was with the first unit.
