Hello everyone.

a few minutes ago while projecting Baby Driver with subtitles in Spanish, in half show, the subtitles were gone! the DCP is an EN-LAS-LAS VF projecting from an EN-XX OV, the KDM is only for the subtitles, and expire in two weeks, I checked the IMS configuration and the Subtitule Engine was activated, I reloaded the CPL and I started from where the subtitles disappeared and they were still not showing up, I had to turn off all the IMS and the Projector so that I reloaded the CPL and it worked, did something similar happen to someone? the proyeyctor is a Christie CP2220 upgraded to 4K, and the server is a Dolby IMS2000 with software 2.8.2-0.

Regards!

The current software version is 2.8.16-0, so I'd start by updating your IMS.

Is this an Interop or an SMPTE DCP? If the latter, the old software could definitely have something to do with it.

Update projector firmware and server software to current versions. Subtitles disappearing mid show did happen in the past more often than it does today, but I'm not surprised it still happens. I think the IMS2000 still has the option to render the subtitles projector-side or server side (server-side with some more display options as well). If this happens in one-off showings, your are probably out of luck. If you show this feature more than once, you could try switching between server-side and projector side rendering in Doremi/Dolby device manager.
