Hello everybody.
i´m inquiring about Dual Projection Systems to gain more fL.
The Screen size is 30m x 12m.

i´m concerning about the giant screen and the difficulties about blending both projectors in a Tandem System.

What dual projection solutions do you think are possible? Anybody has tested the Christie Duo System?

Do you know how much is the percentage of Luminosity with Dual projection ?

Thanks

I did the very first digital 3-D conversion of a Giant Screen Theater at Zion Canyon in Utah about 2007 or so. This theater recently closed although I am not 100% sure why. It was always busy in the summer... We ran dual CP-2000SB's there and the brightness in 2-D at the center was about 12 FL. On 3-D we were able to easily meet spec. It was set up for both linear and circular polarization and could be changed out for either in less than 2 minutes. Also, the screen there was 85 feet wide by 62 feet high.

Really sorry to hear that! I made many, many DTS discs for that site back when it was running film - every summer they booked one or two new movies to play along with the Canyon of the Gods film, and ordered discs. I finally got to visit it just a couple of years ago.
